Vulcan Refractories was formed in 1969 and for over 40 years have been honing our expertise by solving some of the most challenging refractory issues that industry can find. From our ISO 9001 accredited production unit located in the Midlands of the UK, we have full control of our engineering, materials, production, quality and logistics. We source only first class grades of raw material, all of which are subject to stringent controls, in order to ensure the end product is top quality and has full traceability. We know how refractories work, why they work, what makes them work, who needs them and why they are so important to our clients. At Vulcan Refractories, we strive to perfect the science and work closely with our thousands of satisfied customers, in more than 40 countries around the World, to solve some of the most critical applications. As well as refractories we also produce ceramic infra-red and quartz heaters, for which we apply the same philosophy. We have the capability to manufacture both standard industrial shapes as well as custom design units to meet specific needs. Vulcan Refractories currently houses over 2,500 custom shapes to service its many clients.
