In 2017 a group of like-minded independent financial planners from all over South Africa met at the Vulintaba Country Estate near Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, to deliberate how they could collectively contribute to champion the concept of Lifestyle Financial Planning in South Africa. They had all experienced the positive difference that this approach to financial planning made in the lives of their clients, in their own lives and in their practices and wanted to share this with others.
It is here that the Vulintaba Association was born. Vulintaba is the Zulu/Xhosa word for “Open the Mountain” and since it was here that the vision for the Association was shaped, it seemed fitting that the Association would carry the name of such a beautiful and inspiring place.
The Vulintaba Association is a community of dedicated and passionate financial planners who are committed to a professional partnership that will enable collaboration between members and in so doing, provide their clients the best possible opportunity of achieving their financial goals and lifestyle aspirations reliably over time.
