VUvereniging is a social network for people who feel connected and involved in the special identity of VU Amsterdam and VU University Medical Center. VUvereniging organizes lectures, debates or other events on scientific and social topics, both in Amsterdam and in the country. Most of these events are free for members.
VUvereniging finances endowed chairs, providing scholarships and giving grants. Examples are: the Hospital Chaplaincy of VU University Medical Center and the Fellowship program in which foreign students are supported financially at our university.
