The Meaning Behind “VX” “V” stands for “VERVE” derived from the Latin word “VERVA” which convey the notion of vigour and spirit or enthusiasm while the “X” symbolizes “EXCLUSIVE” treatment to all our members and customers. Our History Founded in Singapore as Verv Petroleum (S) Pted Ltd. in 2009. Our exclusive focus was on supplying base oil and additive raw materials to motor oil manufacturers in Malaysia and Singapore. After being on the market for two years, we realized that consumers were paying very high prices for low quality automotive related products and services. Consumers in general usually have very minimal knowledge regarding automotive products and services. In most cases, quality assurance is also not guaranteed. We decided to change this and fill the gaps. As a result, we created the Vervx Malaysia platform where regular consumers join as members for a minimal charge, which then allows them access to information, products, and services of high standards at competitive prices where all products are guaranteed of quality. As we expand in 2019, we change the name of our platform to VX Garage. Along with VX Ventures, we also choose to broaden our product offering to include IT solutions.
