West African Centre for Public Health and Development (WACPHD) is a research-driven organization dedicated to improving public health programs in Nigeria and West Africa. We employ a collaborative approach, involving public institutions and marginalized communities to tailor interventions for sustainable outcomes. Our expertise spans disease control, sexual and reproductive health, and maternal and child health. We facilitate coordination among Key Population-led organizations in the HIV/AIDS program.
With a focus on Program Science, we integrate scientific knowledge into program design, implementation, and evaluation. Leveraging partnerships with the Institute of Global Public Health, University of Manitoba, we contribute to Nigeria's national response efforts.
