Wagon Kowsar Company is established in 2002 and started its activities by designing and manufacturing various types of wagons including freight cars. The company uses the expertise of Iranian and also foreign specialists in the fields of design and manufacturing. Wagon Kowsar Company uses the best and most modern facilities and equipment in its factory and has a certificate in manufacturing wagons from the Research University of Ukraine. The company has an area of 95 hectares, 20 km from Shahreza in Isfahan and near the industrial town of Razi. The Company is the first and the largest private freight car manufacturing companies in Iran. The second phase of its activities is planned for producing passenger cars and subway wagons with the participation of the best companies of the world with the aim of providing urban railway organizations and railway Rolling Stock for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
