Wakan Tipi Awanyankapi (previously named Lower Phalen Creek Project) is an East Side Saint Paul non-profit organization whose mission is to engage people in honoring and caring for our natural places and the sacred sites and cultural value within them. Our efforts focus on: * cultivating community environmental stewards, * helping protect and build awareness about Wakan Tipi Cave and other sacred sites in our local natural areas, * restoring ecosystems and improving water quality, and * increasing equitable access to our parks and trails.
