Walcutz Community Development Associationi (WACODA), is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 by Ekie Walters Ngalle. Our mission is to empower Youths for Community Development Through our initiatives, we provide approximately 1500 free haircuts to individuals in hospitals, orphanages, and less privileged homes. Our aim is to instill dignity and confidence in those we serve. We strongly believe in the transformative power of empowering young individuals to create a better society. In the beauty industry, we actively train and empower around 30 youths through comprehensive programs. We equip these individuals with the necessary tools and knowledge to thrive in the beauty sector. Our flagship project, Battle Of The Beauticians (BOTB) includes seminars, workshops, competitions, and the esteemed Beauty D'Or Awards. This initiative serves as a platform for knowledge sharing, learning, and networking among the young participants. It is also a means to provide well-deserved recognition and rewards. To reflect a broader focus on the beauty industry as a whole, we recently rebranded the event as PANACHE EXPO. This strategic shift demonstrates our adaptability and commitment to staying current with evolving trends and opportunities within the sector. In addition to our flagship event, we organize free barbing workshops specifically targeting youths aged 17 to 25. These workshops span three to four months and impart valuable skills and knowledge, empowering 30 young individuals to pursue fulfilling careers in the field of barbering. We actively seek partnerships and collaborations with organizations that share our vision. By fostering alliances with like-minded entities, we aim to amplify our impact and empower 10 to 15 youths annually across various beauty domains. Through our unwavering dedication, we continue to make a profound difference in the lives of young individuals and communities at large.
