Waldorf Teacher Education Eugene (WTEE) is a nonprofit institute in Eugene, Oregon, United States. WTEE offers a two-year immersion-style program that runs from September to June. Classes are held in-person four times a week. An individualized third-year option is also available. Our program provides a firm pedagogical foundation upon which new teachers may build their future work as educators. Artistic studies, including the visual arts, eurythmy, choir, recorder, speech, drama, form drawing, handwork, and woodwork, comprise half of the weekly schedule along with four seminars per week. The second year (Education Year) offers seven weeks of practicum and 125 hours of classroom volunteer time. The immersive nature of WTEE allows for a continual deepening of study and self-development, and strong social bonding with fellow students and teachers. WTEE is located in beautiful Oregon, on the Eugene Waldorf School campus, a well-established pre-k through Grade 8 school. Our students participate in the life of the school as an integral part of their educational experience.
