Walkabout Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission of restoring dignity, freedom and independence by providing wheelchairs and rehabilitation in the developing world and funding research to find a cure for paralysis.
Since it was co-founded by siblings Luis and Carolina Gonzalez-Bunster in 2009, Walkabout Foundation has distributed over 27,000 wheelchairs in 25 countries around the world, impacting the lives of over 71,000 people, and funded nearly $2 million in ground-breaking Spinal Cord Injury research.
