The company is currently finalising construction at its flagship Lindi Jumbo Graphite Mine in Tanzania. Production is on track for commencement in H1, 2024. Using innovative proprietary techniques in graphite processing, the unique high-grade, large-flake Lindi Jumbo Graphite Mine will produce graphite concentrate with an exceptional ratio of natural flakes highly skewed towards large end of the flake size spectrum. As a dominant active material for lithium-ion battery anodes, graphite is vitally important to the energy transition. Even more advantageous to Walkabout Resources is that due to the characteristics of its large flake graphite supply at Lindi Jumbo, the Company will be able to serve majority of end-users of natural flake graphite. In addition to Lindi Jumbo, WKT holds other graphite and gold assets in Tanzania, as well as an exploration portfolio of gold and base metals in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
