We make working and learning outdoors a normality. As humans, we are made for walking in nature in a community. These are the conditions in which our minds, emotions and bodies have developed over millions of years. Scientific studies show the positive effects of walking in natural spaces: creative problem solving becomes more likely, focus is strengthened, physical and mental resilience increases, cohesion in groups grows and sustainable behavior is promoted. At Walkaboutyou, we offer outdoor training programmes, workshops and offsites in the context of organizational, team and leadership development. Our special focus is on stress management & resilience, collaboration & team building, values & culture, creativity & innovation, new work & agile as well as sustainable & regenerative management. We use scientific and tried-and-tested methods as a basis, including “Inner Development Goals” (IDGs), “Search Inside Yourself” (created at Google), “Theory U” (MIT, Boston) and “Reinventing Organizations” (Frederic Laloux).
