The Walker Ground is a multi-sport environment where you can enjoy a variety of sports, notably cricket, football, hockey, lacrosse, netball, softball, squash, racketball, rugby, and tennis. We hope to attract as many players as possible but are also keen to welcome spectators to watch the excellent standard of sport played at the Ground. Our clubs and players play at premiership/county level whilst catering for all levels of ability in the lower teams. You will find details of all our user clubs and the sports available on our website. There is a friendly bar available at evenings and weekends with a wide variety of drinks. The bar has a large plasma screen where you can enjoy watching sport on terrestrial or Sky TV. Catering is provided by Sue’s “Skippy’s Catering” – and hot and cold snacks/meals are available whenever the Ground is being used for team events. Catering is also provided for functions, weddings, funerals and meetings. You can hire the Ground facilities for private functions, private meetings, corporate functions and corporate meetings. Our corporate partners use the Ground for sports or for entertaining clients. We have previously provided the facilities for wedding marquees, club anniversaries/social functions, birthday parties, anniversaries, christenings or bar mitzvahs.
