Walker Engineering Consultants Ltd aims to provide the best engineering services possible in the fields of structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering, catering to projects across Auckland, the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and New Zealand as a whole. Services include engineering designs, drafting, structural/geotechnical analysis, geotechnical investigation reporting and peer reviews. We work closely with various engineering and architectural companies, contractors, councils & clients to fulfil specific project requirements. Our team includes professional engineers, draftsmen and engineering technicians. The company is run by Peter Walker, the main principal consultant and a Chartered/Licensed Professional Engineer (CPEng NZ Registration Number: 1161503). Peter has been in the construction and engineering industry since 2009, working on projects in in Africa, Antarctica, Australia, and New Zealand. He enjoys providing creative and unique solutions to complex engineering problems . Peter is one of the few engineers who is Professionally Chartered in both the Structural Civil and Geotechnical fields. Since 2018, he has contributed to over 600 engineering projects in New Zealand, working on various projects all across the North Island and mostly in the Bay of Plenty Area, Waikato and Auckland areas. Projects include residential, industrial, commercial, civil structural, marine structures, bridges, and civil infrastructure, which cover the structural, civil and geotechnical fields. Peter holds various qualifications, including a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) Washington Accordance Degree and a Master's Civil Engineering Degree (First Class Honours) from Auckland University. He is a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand and is recognised as an accredited International Professional Engineer (IntPE/APEC Engineers Register).
