Digby Walker and his brothers opened the first Walker Brothers Dry Goods store in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 1903. Buoyed by the success of the Eureka Springs store, the brothers added stores in Berryville, Arkansas and Cassville, Missouri supplying their part of the world with everything from jeans to luggage. Eventually the original Walker Brothers became the current version of the store now owned by one of Digby’s grandsons, John Walker Cole, and his family.
