Walkway

Like many start ups, the inspiration for Walkway came from personal experience. A fitness fanatic at heart, Kari Severson Snaza found herself in a life stage where she was frequent flying, working 24-7 and suddenly sedentary. She realized she wasn't the only one and just how inactive our modern lifestyles have become. There had to be a way to increase activity without sacrificing productivity. Meet, the Walkway Workstation - treadmill, bike and standing desk workstations with device charging and internet access. Drawing upon years of healthcare experience, Kari founded Walkway to share the incredible benefits of walking while working with the world at large. Walkway Workstations are available in both public (airports, offices, libraries, coffee shops) and home environments, made possible through a sponsorship model. Walkway was a finalize on ABC's Shark Tank and wound down in 2020.
