The Wallobooks Project company information, Employees & Contact Information

WALLOBOOKS is a Library + Laboratory run by children. Imagine what 100 kids can build for themselves using just a wall and their free spirit? Their future. ----- We walk up to all kinds of places in India, collect 100 kids and help them build a hyper-cool Library of their own using just a wall - and so we call this a WALLOBOOKS. We equip it with a startup grant of 100 books (and a world map, a light bulb and a few more things :) and elect a little leader to run it. ----- We train their teacher to deliver a unique curriculum of change. ----- Together with all of them, we then create a hyper innovative laboratory to help them learn & grow and shape their own future. ----- Founded in 2014, today we work in eight states and union territories across India serving 50,000+ children from 200+ centers. ----- Our work in re:imagining education has been acknowledged by Ashoka & The Lego Foundation. We want to build 100,000 WALLOBOOKS across the world so that no child is left behind. 99,800 to go! This year we are building 100 WALLOBOOKS in each state across India, to give 1 Million kids at the bottom of the pyramid an opportunity to shape their own future. ==================== Do you want to help us bring WALLOBOOKS to your city, state or country?
