Wallonia in Slovakia

The Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) is the trade and economic representation of the Walloon region of Belgium. The office in Vienna represents the Walloon and Brussels-Capital regions in the promotion of foreign trade with Austria, Slovakia, Croatia and the International Organisations based in Vienna. Since 1993, AWEX Slovakia is a one-stop-shop that promotes Walloon-Belgium and its export potential, prepares customized market studies, provides its expertise and seeks information on potential partners in Slovakia for Belgian companies. Our office organizes multisectoral trade missions for interested Belgian companies. In addition to trade and economic matters, the office also takes care of cultural and educational cooperation as a cultural focal point of Wallonie- Bruxelles International (WBI)
