The Walnut Creek Downtown Association (WCD) is the dedicated voice and champion of downtown Walnut Creek’s business community. As a 501(c)(6) nonprofit and the official Business Improvement District (BID), WCD is committed to enhancing the vitality of local businesses through advocacy, beautification, events, and strategic marketing.
WCD collaborates closely with its members, the City of Walnut Creek, and community stakeholders to foster a vibrant, welcoming, and economically resilient downtown. Our efforts are rooted in strengthening local commerce, connecting our community, and investing in the ongoing success of Walnut Creek.
Through our charitable arm, The Community Partnership for Walnut Creek Downtown, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we develop, support, and promote artistic, cultural, and public events that enrich the downtown experience for businesses, residents, and visitors alike. These initiatives are designed to enhance the cultural fabric of our community and stimulate economic engagement across the district.
