At the Cranfield University Welding and Additive Manufacturing Centre, we specialise in laser and arc metal additive manufacturing and advanced welding technologies. Our laboratory is built over 700m2 with over 15 bespoke arc/laser/hybrid cells. With over 40 personnel, from apprentices to senior academics, we develop the latest in metal additive and welding processes technology, materials development and modelling. We offer both a part-time and full-time MSc’s and work closely with our industrial partners to deliver state-of-the-art and relevant industrial solutions.
