Wanderfreund Trails UG

The Wanderfreund app is a digital map and guide for Germany's long distance hiking trails. We offer the features that "thru-hikers" and long-distance hikers in Germany have been waiting for: Wanderfreund combines the complete hiking route, actual walking distance along the trail, and quality waypoint information, all in one app. Everything works completely offline. Wanderfreund currently offers trail guides for the Rennsteig, Westweg, Harzer Hexenstieg, Hochrhöner, Weserberglandweg, Altmühltal Panoramaweg, and Kammweg Erzgebirge-Vogtland, with many more on the way. The Android app is currently available in the Play Store, and the iPhone app is coming soon. The app and guides are completely free in 2021. The Wanderfreund team includes enthusiastic and experienced long-distance backpackers, who combined have thru-hiked more than 15,000 kilometres. As a result, the Wanderfreund app provides outstanding data quality and features, unlike anything offered by other hiking apps on the German market.
