In 1975, The Wangkanai Group started off as a single company, Limited, which was the first sugar factory established by the Group.
Today the Wangkanai Group ranks as one of n Thailand’s major sugar producers, with a list of products that includes raw, white, refined, and brown sugar, all of which are marketed both domestically and aboard with the crushing capacity around 100,000 tons of sugar cane per day.
In addition to improving sugar manufacturer, the company has also extended its operation to include other businesses, some related either directly and indirectly to sugar production, some completely independent of it. This expansion and diversification has produced a realm of relates companies that have continued the trend of rapid growth and development. New production technology has been introduced to improve product quality, and research and development work continues to permit the group to offer customers products of the highest quality.
From its earliest days, the Wangkanai Group has placed major emphasis on developing product quality and service to international levels of excellence. The success of this effort was acknowledged when the Wangkanai Group is awarded ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certifications. Such things have been an essential element in the Group’s steady growth.
