Our host combines her journalistic drive with a medical curiosity to be a dynamic host, unlocking the pain, despair, and eventual triumph Kenyans have over their health challenges. From cancer to hyperthyroidism, obesity to sickle cell anemia, malaria to post-partum depression, Wanjiru shows us how human beings cope, find help and overcome some of their worst nightmares. And she is joined in each episode by some of the top health professionals, showing off their individual expertise in highly specialized areas. They teach our audience and cure our main characters!
