The WASAN group, founded in 1930 by Late Mr K.N Wasan and taken to new heights by his two sons late Mr Deepak Wasan and late Mr Sushil Wasan, is one of north India’s leading leather corporate groups. As the pioneer in exports of shoe uppers, in the past decades, the company successfully expanded its product range of exports of finished leather, leather shoes, leather garments, leather accessories including belts, wallets, bags etc. Further, the group has also expanded its horizons into textile apparels, linen, Chino’s, formal suits & jeans. The group has its own tannery for the processing of finished leather and shoe manufacturing units with state of the art machinery in Agra. The group also has a trading division to cater to the needs of the ever-changing demands of the fashion industry, which is headquartered in New Delhi and represents several European, American and Australian brands for all their sourcing requirements out of India. The addition to the group has been directed towards the growing Indian economy, an E-Commerce division has been created for all kind of leather products along with textile apparels under their private labels “ Aditi Wasan” and “CarloRomano”. As a third-generation closely-held family-run business, the group’s activities are equally divided into the son’s of late Mr Deepak Wasan. Mr Pradip Wasan is handling the tannery and the shoe manufacturing division. Mr Jatinder Wasan along with Mrs Aditi Wasan are handling eCommerce, Export trading division and a buying house where they look after the product range of leather garments/accessories/home and textile apparels.
