WASH R&D Centre

The WASH R&D Centre is a transdisciplinary research and development hub in Africa that produces next-generation solutions for global water and sanitation challenges. We believe in a world where all people have access to clean water, safe sanitation and a sustainable food supply, thus improving health and quality of life. Our mission is to be a Centre of Excellence for cutting-edge applied and trans-disciplinary research, to grow our collaboration with local and international partners, and to produce the next generation of experts through education and capacity building in order to solve the water and sanitation crisis on a global level, with a particular focus in South Africa.
