About Washington College Geospatial Innovation Program
The Washington College Geospatial Innovation Program (GIP) is a spatial technologies hub with the mission of providing experiential learning opportunities for students in a professional working environment. Working with partners like the Maryland Highway Safety Office, Kent County, our Center for Environment and Society, and the Upper Shore Regional Counsel, we leverage 21st century technologies to the ancient art of map-making. Here we seek a deeper understanding of the land we live on and the human networks we move through, all while providing our partners and clients with analytics that frame the world geospatially.
