Water Projects Implementation Center

The main tasks of the center for the implementation of foreign investment projects in the water management under the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan are: - Selection of priority investment projects, including with the participation of funds from international financial institutions and foreign government financial organizations (hereinafter — IFIs and FGFO), aimed at improving the water management system on the basis of transparency, development and formation of their short-and long-term programs; - Attracting funds from the IFI and the FGFO for the implementation of foreign investment projects in the field of water management; - Organization of approval of address lists of foreign investment projects with the participation of IFI and FGFO funds in accordance with the established procedure; - Implementation of foreign investment projects in the field of water management, including with the participation of IFI and FGFO funds; - Determination of general contracting organizations in accordance with the established procedure on the basis of tender tenders and execution of relevant contracts for the implementation of foreign investment projects in the field of water management, including with the participation of IFIs and FGFO; - Conducting system monitoring of the implementation of projects and sub-projects, as well as ensuring that the customer and contractors comply with the requirements of urban planning norms and rules.
