Water is Life Kenya is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to spark personal, economic, and community development in marginalized communities in Kenya, according to existing customs and culture. We do this by providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, empowering women, and equipping people to develop income through improved resource management.
Our capacity-building programs include:
1. Clean Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Projects: Over 100,000 people with access to sustainable clean water.
2. Livestock as a Business: Equip livestock farmers with skills to manage businesses and turn steady profit.
3. Hope for Widows: Empower marginalized widows with entrepreneurial business skills, community, and hope.
4. Planning for Pasture: Organize and fortify local grazing management efforts around Amboseli National Park.
5. Beaded Handicrafts: Provide income generating opportunities to women in rural regions.
