Waterloop c’est le projet qu’ont choisi de relever 11 étudiants centraliens: réduire drastiquement la consommation d’eau et d’énergie utilisée par une douche classique.
Le concept est simple. Une waterloop est une douche qui réutilise l’eau de lavage pour la réinjecter dans le système. L’eau ainsi bloquée en circuit fermé permet d’éviter d’en reconsommer à chaque ouverture de robinet, et l’énergie nécessaire à son fonctionnement est bien moindre puisque l’eau à réchauffer est déjà chaude.
La waterloop c’est donc une consommation d’eau réduite de 90% et une économie d’énergie de 70% !
Pour atteindre ces objectifs, le projet waterloop s’est associé à l’entreprise Evolsys. Elle propose des solutions innovantes et adaptables pour récupérer la chaleur des eaux usées : transmettre la chaleur des eaux sortantes aux eaux entrantes et ainsi économiser l’énergie de chauffage.
