Water Prairie was created to encourage parents of children with disabilities through posts about IEP tips and tricks and a weekly podcast, the Water Prairie Chronicles. Tonya Wollum is the creator of Water Prairie and host of the podcast. She and her husband, Steve, have two children in college, and they navigated a combination of public school and schooling from home as their children were growing up. Both of their children have disabilities and/or learning challenges. Tonya and Steve learned much through the years as they navigated parenting children with visual impairment, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, sensory issues, and narcolepsy. Tonya is a certified teacher, IEP coach, and loves sharing what she's learned with others!
