Waterways Protection

Waterways Protection company information, Employees & Contact Information

Waterways Protection is an open network and hub for charities, non-profits, groups and individuals. We provide a space for concerned ones and groups concerned about the current epidemic of water pollution we currently have in the UK caused by under and not treated sewage discharges from water companies who refuse to make two vital steps that would stop the ecocide presently happening in the UK with UK government approval. We are non-partisan, not politically biased, we simply wish to have effective environmental regulation by whichever government is in power. Our aim is to help campaigners focus on key points in relation to the water pollution issue in the UK. We aim to provide guidance to the wider environmental community in order to increase the concentration of all their efforts which will lead to a higher probability of a favourable outcome for all lovers of nature, water, wildlife, pet and human health, both physical and mental. Therefore our message is a simple one, Focus most if not all attention on the UK government. For it is ONLY the UK Government who can: 1) Raise final effluent standards to drink water quality. 2) Increase storm overflow capacity for each waterworks plant to a minimum of 48 hours, either on or off-site. The solutions I, Philip Greenwood, and others advocate for are simple, workable, cost-effective and produce the results required. When society can't get the basics right like sanitation and functioning sewage systems, then something has to change, join me and others, and be part of that change, and let's not allow the ecocide to continue, the health of our local and wider environment, wildlife, pets and our selves depends on it. Please, don't let the government get away with letting the water companies treat our delicate ecosystems, waterways, and rivers as an open sewer because the effects will be and are devasting for all.
