Wattie is like Google analytics for the energy consumption of your building. It helps conserve energy and become energy efficient by providing real-time insights and analytics using machine learning and AI. Wattie reduces energy wastage to cut-down electricity bills and carbon footprint. The Problem: Today 30% to 50% of the energy that flows into buildings is wasted. This inefficient use of electricity increases carbon footprint, causes climate changes and increases electricity bills. There is a need for simple, rapid, easy-to-implement and cost-effective solution to this problem. Our Solution: We help building owners become energy efficient through real-time actionable insights and analytics. Wattie is a smart energy analyzer that installs in the fuse box of the building, connects to the Internet, and sends energy consumption data to our back-end in real-time where it is processed by our proprietary deep learning algorithms to generate insights. Possible actions are determined through these insights and shared with the end-user through our web app. Following are the actionable insight we at Wattie are working to generate for buildings. Fingerprinting appliances - See exactly how much is consumed by which appliance and what can be done if some appliances are using more energy than necessary. Anomaly detection through pattern learning - Every facility has its own electricity consumption pattern. AI algorithms learn it and whenever there is significant deviance, alerts are generated for the user. Predictive maintenance - Get warnings before any appliance breaks down. Demand – response (Peak/off-peak) - Notifications are generated if non-critical loads are run during peak hours. Choosing utility to best suit needs - See which programs and/or services of which utility best suit your needs and how much can be saved on your electricity bill.
