Waves are a form of energy, formed with the wind above and the ocean currents below, along with the cycles of the moon. The wave grows, gaining height rapidly as it approaches the shore. The wave crashes. The wave makes impacts, it erodes rock and change the shores of beaches. It’s loud, and it was making steady progress the whole time on its way to the beach. And when the wave has gone the most that it can do, the water has traveled the farthest it can go, the wave comes back to the ocean where it came from.
