WAVE Project

WAVE aims to create, deploy, and evaluate an advanced open-source software development framework for low-code/no-code (LCNC) application development of high-assurance systems. The project is located at the nexus of software platform and application development, with a strong reliance on advanced model-driven development technologies, formal methods, AI/ML, and data science support. WAVE will act as a catalyst for placing Ireland at the forefront of the global LCNC revolution by creating a robust and research-led developer platform and advanced toolkit. Supported by eminent scholars, domain experts and partners, this multi-dimensional and visionary project will leverage international academic and industrial knowledge in LC/NC to focus on low-code development platforms, their use and evaluation. The project boasts unprecedented collaboration between esteemed scholars in the field of LC/NC and corporate partners. It combines platform iteration and development with continuous validation and testing to ensure its superiority and relevance in the area, augmented by top-class research and multi-modal research dissemination.
