WAVE Committee

The WAVE Committee (Women and Children’s Health Advocates for Vital Ecosystems) is a dedicated task force established by No More Plastic Foundation to address one of the most urgent health and environmental crises of our time: plastic pollution and its impact on the health of women and children. Our mission: A Global and Urgent Call to Action In response to this silent crisis, the WAVE Committee is taking action with the release of its first expert report in April 2025, aimed at: ✔ Raising awareness and educating individuals on how to reduce their exposure to plastics and their harmful effects. ✔ Developing a comprehensive expert report outlining concrete and actionable solutions to combat plastic pollution and its health consequences. ✔ Launching a public awareness campaign to alert public opinion about this invisible yet pervasive threat. A Collective Commitment to Protect Future Generations The WAVE Committee unites experts, doctors, and dedicated citizens who, with unwavering courage and determination, are taking action to confront one of the most pressing public health crises of our time: the impact of plastic pollution on human health. As long as voices remain mobilized, refusing to let plastic pollution continue to threaten our well-being, there is hope. Together, we can forge a future where plastic pollution is no longer an unavoidable reality, but a challenge we have met—and overcome.
