Wavefront Asset Management ("WAM") is a joint collaboration between Kevin Swannack of Bailrigg Capital and Andy Bailey of Propeller Capital. WAM provides funding services to the maritime industry with regard to new technologies prompted by either energy efficiencies or regulatory change. We are currently active in the ballast water treatment system area, where we have developed a funding model that allows ship owners to defer their significant mandatory costs over a period in order to improve general cash flow.
WAM is also looking at how well-structured funding can assist with the uptake of new energy saving technologies, from frequency converters to hull coatings and trim software.
