Wavelia

Wavelia is a Microwave Breast Imaging (MBI) scanner intended for the detection and characterization of breast pathologies. An international network of clinical partners is participating to the development of this safe imaging modality designed as an alternative or complementary modality to conventional breast imaging. Unlike X-ray mammography, this non-ionizing technology may allow for regular scan of the breast, as often as needed for clinical follow-up of pre-diagnosed pathologies, or for the preventive control of women with breast cancer family history. In addition, there is no compression of the breast during the examination for the comfort of the patient.
