Wayne America Inc.

Wayne America, recently rebranded from Wayne Area Economic Development is an umbrella organization for economic development activities, chamber of commerce services, and downtown historic preservation in Wayne, NE (68787) and the surrounding area. Wayne America is a 501(c)6 non-profit that is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors comprised of 8 elected seats (business members) and 7 standing seats (City of Wayne-2, Wayne County-1, Wayne State College-1, Providence Medical Center-1, Wayne Community Schools-1, and Wayne Community Housing Development Corporation-1). Wayne America serves as the overseeing entity for the Wayne Chicken Show, an annual celebration of arts, community, and the chicken, that is held over the second weekend of July.
