WayPath Pharma is a pharmaceutical startup established in 2019 with the purpose of developing new and innovative anticancer metabolic drugs for humans with a secondary focus on canines. The team consists of two cancer research specialists, Dr. Krzysztof Reiss and Dr. Branko Jursic with over 50 years of combined experience.
Waypath has developed new and innovative anti-cancer metabolic compounds and holds the exclusive license and commercialization rights from LSU for over 300 variants. The company was successful in receiving a STTR Phase I grant from NIH and is in the process of developing its Phase II STTR grant application, and most recently in December 2023 was able to secure a Louisiana Innovation Retention Grant.
