Waypoint Montessori

Waypoint Montessori opened as the Montessori Academy of Grapevine in 1971 to meet the needs of interested parents. By 1986, the school’s increasing enrollment precipitated a move to the current location in Colleyville, Texas. Waypoint has a long-standing reputation for its dedicated and highly qualified faculty and staff. Waypoint Montessori has a robust community of parents, students, alumni, staff and supporters who work together with a common goal. Waypoint is built on our Mission, Vision & Values, a trio of statements that illustrate our commitment to Montessori education in a community environment. Our mission: Waypoint Montessori is a collaborative learning environment that provides integrated, whole-child education through the proven, authentic Montessori method, as defined by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). Our vision: Waypoint Montessori envisions a community of parents, educators and administrators working together to educate the whole child, nurturing a perpetual love of learning. Through thoughtful outreach, educational programs, and commitment to the Montessori method, we partner with families as they nurture their children’s development into capable, culturally-aware, empowered adults with the capacity to change the world. Our values: We work together to nurture the full potential of every child. We meet families where they are, and invite them to become active participants in our learning community.
