Waystone Pharmaceuticals is a development-stage pharmaceutical company based in San Diego, CA, focused on advancing innovative therapies for inflammation and immunology (I&I) disorders. Our first therapeutic area is Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), where, despite the availability of treatments, there is a critical need for options with a higher safety profile. Additionally, we are pursuing therapies for antimicrobial resistance (AMR), addressing the growing global challenge of drug-resistant infections. Our approach leverages Host-Directed Therapeutics (HDT), utilizing a proprietary small molecule library designed to enhance the body’s immune response and restore balance. By focusing on the underlying mechanisms of disease, we aim to develop therapies that are not only effective but also reduce the risk of adverse side effects and resistance development.
