Wayu Energy is majority owned by Nala Renewables (JV between Trafigura and IFM Investors), a globally focused renewable energy investment and development platform. Nala Renewables is looking to own 10GW of late-stage pipeline and operate 4GW of operating assets by 2030. Nala Renewables is head-quartered in the United Kingdom, with presence in LATAM, USA, Europe and Asia. Wayu Energy is an investment platform established to focus on commercial and industrial (C&I) scale, ground mounted and floating utility scale solar, solutions across Southeast. Wayu Energy’s strategy is Invest in or acquire late-stage development or operating assets across its core markets. Diversify the asset class across utility scale solar, C&I solar, floating solar, as well as hybrid solutions in different sectors ranging from manufacturing, retail and distribution to telecom.
