Our Story WAZarts was founded with a deep passion for design, creativity, and heritage. Our story is rooted in a lifelong love for art and design. Wassan Mirjan, the founder and concept designer behind WAZarts, began her career as an interior designer and graphic designer. Her experience with clay and pottery fueled her keen eye for detail and her ability to identify what’s missing in a space. Inspired by her upbringing in Iraq, specifically the historically rich land of Babylon, Wassan's deep appreciation for Arabic calligraphy and culture is infused into every creation. In September 2019, WAZarts was born as a small yet luxurious e-commerce platform with the mission of presenting Arabic heritage through a modern lens.
