It’s target market is the Montgomery Selma designated market area (DMA) which is currently ranked 115 out of 210 DMA’s nationwide according to Nielsen Research Estimates. The U.S. Television broadcasting industry is currently valued at 42.4 billion and is expected to grow to $56.3 billion by 2008. The Company’s Mission Blacksmith Multimedia Inc’s goal is to provide the community with a locally owned resource that broadcasts an array of news; sports; and weather; educational; cultural and youth programs that educate; inform; enlighten and entertain. The company’s location within the Empowerment Zone reinforces its commitment to improving the economic outlook of the local community and enriching the lives of its viewers. Blacksmith Multimedia is dedicated to building long-term relationships with customers through quality products and services. Products and Service The company will sell tailor-made advertising to small and medium sized business; non-profit organization and larger corporations. All of our advertising will be created in house using the latest technological; creative and distribution expertise. Blacksmith Multimedia will also offer memberships to broadcasting and media professionals and also to students wishing to enter the industry. Students members will be offered hand-on-training programs from industry professionals and the ability to produce their own programs. The company intends to deliver quality programming that is a positive alternative to mainstream television programming.
