About Worldwide Cultural Exchange Program (WCEP)
The Worldwide Cultural Exchange Program (WCEP) is an organization based in Toronto, Canada, operating high school student exchange programs in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Canada and relevant ministries from a total of 16 countries. WCEP aims to bring together different cultures in a personal, family-like environment, fostering lifelong friendships while focusing on high academic achievement and strong social skills. Since 1950, international high school exchange programs have been implemented among 16 countries with advanced education systems, selected from a pool of 42. As WCEP, we work in coordination with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye, fully complying with all legal frameworks and regulations. Through this collaboration, we directly contribute to the global recognition of our country by helping raise world citizens who speak two foreign languages fluently and possess well-developed academic and social competencies. We carry out pioneering projects in cooperation with public and private high schools, district and provincial education directorates, and the Ministry of National Education itself. The WCEP KÜDEP–High School Ambassadors Student Exchange Program offers high school students an unforgettable experience both academically and culturally. Within the scope of the program, students receive education abroad for one academic year, while foreign students are hosted in Türkiye. This reciprocal exchange enhances young participants' English language skills, allows them to experience a different education system, and helps them gain a global perspective. At the same time, it promotes Turkish culture and hospitality internationally, increasing the global visibility and reputation of our country. This safe, well-structured, and Ministry-approved program not only boosts students' self-confidence but also contributes to the establishment of lifelong friendships and the building of cultural bridges.
