WCTC is one of 5 partnership Regional Behavioral Health Action Councils (RBHAOs) across the state, who together form the CT Prevention Network (CPN). We are funded primarily by the Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (DMHAS) and we are charged with supporting local-level substance abuse prevention, mental health promotion, and capacity building activities across the continuum of care. WCTC serves 43 towns of Western CT. We depend on a large network of volunteers and community partners to accomplish our goals. If you are impacted by, or have an impact on behavioral health promotion, intervention, treatment, and recovery supports, then there is a place for you on our coalition!
