Lemonade is a charity here for women suffering from ovarian cancer and was founded in tribute to our friend Victoria Aldwin. We are so-called because we made lemonade from the lemons that our friend was given. Now we want to “make lemonade” for other women.
Vicki’s spirit and strength throughout her diagnosis of ovarian cancer meant that, despite the unimaginable sadness, she had a wonderful last few months of her life ticking off her bucket list wishes. This happened because people – friends and strangers alike – came together to fund and create once-in-a-lifetime experiences for her.
Lemonade’s purpose is to educate women on the symptoms of ovarian cancer and help those that have been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer to make memories and fulfil their own bucket list wishes.
