SAHHAS, an initiative by HMD, is committed to shifting this reality. Rooted in empathy, awareness, solidarity and powered by science, SAHHAS is a movement to make cervical cancer awareness a national priority. It aims to spark informed conversations around adolescent health, human papillomavirus (HPV), and the life-saving value of early action.
We are building a culturally grounded, community-driven awareness ecosystem - one that reaches classrooms, clinics, homes, and handheld devices. By collaborating with educators, medical professionals, mothers, and storytellers, we seek to replace fear with facts, stigma with science, and silence with support.
At its core, SAHHAS represents a shared vision: a future where no girl in India is left unprotected simply because of where she lives or what she doesn't know. It aligns with the global health agenda of SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being) and India's shift towards preventive, inclusive healthcare.
