Who are we?
Project We Can was started in the highly vulnerable community of Rakhial, Ahmedabad.
Initiated by Teach for India fellows in 2018, our work has encompassed gender, sex & sexuality education for adolescent students from low-fee schools across Ahmedabad.
This year, our work is centered around Menstrual Hygiene and Health management in the community. We are working to deliver high quality, interactive menstrual literacy sessions to adolescent girls from low-income groups.
Our vision:
To empower menstruators to bleed with dignity.
