The research regarding women-identified businesses, investment and access to markets is not uplifting. Less than 3% of investment capital goes to women-identified founders WORLDWIDE. Think about that for a minute. In the Netherlands, it is .06%. This makes sense when you consider which systems are in place in the startup world and who is set up to benefit from it. We know the unicorn myth and the glamorization of the grind of the startup hustle. The drive that if you just try hard enough, you can be the next Silicon Valley tech bro. WE are not interested in achieving that status. WE are interested in building an ecosystem for women-identified businesses to grow sustainably, create jobs, generate revenues, make impact and raise up our communities. From validating ideas to scaling, our ecosystem connects women-identified founders with bold ideas and diverse skillsets. WE are an inclusive ecosystem.
